AI search optimization for your business
Find out how your business is described when a customer asks an AI search tool for help. A review can examine selected answers, the sources they cite and the pages on your website that explain the service. The useful outcome is a documented list of facts or content to address.

What does AI search optimization involve?
AI search optimization reviews whether your website clearly explains your services and whether selected AI answers describe them accurately. It checks access, business facts, customer questions and cited sources. You receive findings and recommended changes; implementation and repeated monitoring need an agreed scope.
What the review can change
The review starts with specific pages and buyer questions. It checks access, service information, answers and cited sources. Where structured data is present, its claims must match the visible page. Your business confirms the facts before changes are recommended.
| Review area | Possible finding | Work to agree |
|---|---|---|
| Website access | Important information is difficult to retrieve or missing from page content | A technical access review and any separately scoped correction |
| Business facts | The site or an observed answer uses an incorrect service detail | Verify the fact and identify which source needs attention |
| Customer answers | A page leaves a buying question unanswered | Write or revise the relevant answer using confirmed information |
| Cited sources | A selected answer links to a source that is incomplete or outdated | Document the source and assess the corrections available |
Recommendations do not automatically include editing every source. Third-party pages remain under their publishers' control. The proposal identifies which changes to your website are included and who will make them.
Generative engine optimization: sources and factual accuracy
Generative engine optimization, or GEO, concerns a business's presence in generated answers. In a review, that means examining a defined set of responses and the information supporting them.
A source assessment can identify a missing service explanation, inconsistent provider details or an incorrect fact in an observed answer. The report should distinguish what appeared on the day of the check from a suggestion about what to improve. It cannot reveal a platform's private selection process or establish that one edit will produce a citation.
Answer engine optimization for service and pricing questions
Answer engine optimization, or AEO, focuses on answers to relevant questions. For a service website, useful questions often concern the work included, requirements, pricing factors and who makes the changes.
An answer should make sense on its own and belong to the page where a customer expects to find it. If the service has a limitation, explain it alongside the answer. Turning every heading into a question or adding a long list of near-duplicate FAQs does not resolve missing information.
The sample deliverable shows the distinction between an observed issue and a recommended action.
AI visibility monitoring is a separate workload
A one-time review is a record of selected checks. Monitoring repeats an agreed sample over time and needs its own schedule, platform access and reporting terms.
Three observations must stay separate:
- A brand mention names the business.
- A linked citation points to a source page.
- A referral visit is a visit recorded after someone follows a link, where measurement is available.
None of these automatically means a qualified inquiry. Reports also need the question, language, platform, observation date and relevant session conditions. Failed checks and the size of the valid sample should be visible, not hidden inside a single score.
How the assessment works
Agree which buyer questions and service pages matter. Verify the business facts, inspect the relevant website information and collect platform observations where that access is included.
The findings then identify the affected page or source, the evidence and the recommended next action. If content edits are commissioned, check the revised wording against the confirmed service. Repeat observations only as agreed; a different answer on another day does not by itself establish what caused the change.
What affects the price?
The number of pages, languages, questions and platforms determines the size of the review. Investigating cited sources, writing new answers and repeating observations add different kinds of work.
Compare a proposal by those deliverables. A promise to “get your business into AI” does not explain what will be done or how you can check it. AI search pricing and scope separates the initial assessment, implementation and any recurring observation work.
Questions about AI search services
Are GEO and AEO separate requirements from SEO?
No. GEO and AEO overlap with SEO: they concern generated answers, their sources and the questions customers ask. Google's AI search features do not require special AI markup or an extra machine-readable file. The useful work is to address access, accuracy and unanswered questions.
Can you guarantee a citation in ChatGPT or AI Overviews?
No. ChatGPT and Google choose the answers and sources they display. We can review selected responses and recommend corrections to accessible source information, but a content change cannot secure a future mention or citation.
How is AI visibility checked?
Check an agreed set of questions and record each platform, date, language and session conditions. Report brand mentions, linked citations and measured referral visits separately. Repeating the sample can show changes in those observations, without representing every answer a platform produces.
Tell us which questions matter to your buyers
Send your website and one question you want the review to examine. If you have noticed an incorrect answer, identify the platform and when you saw it without including private customer information.
