# See how an SEO audit finding should be documented

View a labeled SEO audit example showing the observation, evidence, recommended action and validation. Understand the deliverable before discussing scope.

## What does an SEO audit report show?

An SEO audit finding should identify the problem, show the evidence, recommend an action and explain how to check it. This sample uses a noindex instruction on a demonstration page. It shows the report format, without claiming a client result or a ranking improvement.

## Questions and answers

### Is this a completed client project?

No. The example uses a service page prepared for demonstration. It shows how to connect an observation with evidence, a recommendation and a completion check; it contains no customer records or performance results.

### Does removing noindex guarantee that a page will appear in search?

No. It removes that restriction, but Google must still crawl and assess the page. Other access problems, content issues or canonical signals may affect indexing. Verify the edit first, then check the live page's status after processing.

### Will my audit contain every check shown here?

Your proposal defines the checks included. This example explains one finding, not a standard checklist for every website. Ask for the report to address the pages and decisions relevant to your project.
